SHARE celebrated NSW Seniors Festival 2022 with a day of fitness, friendship & fun! The 2022 theme of Reconnection was honoured through connections made with friends, community, mind and body across the activities of the day.
Held on April 6 at Kogarah School of Arts, the huge turnout from the local community signified a truly special day.
Guest speakers Dr Aline Nassar from STOCHOS Australia, Patricia Lynch, Active Ageing Coordinator from the Health Promotion Service at Population and Community Health, and Rebecca Vaughn, Clinical Education Manager from the Faculty of Medicine at Macquarie University, shared their expert advice and knowledge through interactive workshops.
Everyone grooved along to a free Zumba session led by SHARE Instructor Norma Rojas, coordinated to classic music hits. A special performance from Sydney Bollywood featuring dance and fire saw the room lit up with colour and joy!
