The future of healthcare was together in Darling Harbour at this international gathering of influential minds. People from every discipline, industry and country were invited to join SPHERE as they challenge, innovate and ideas-make. As they move healthcare forward, from where it is, to where we imagine it to be.

SHARE Instructors , participants and staff attended ‘Ayurveda for Holistic Health’ presented by Dr Sharma, followed by refreshments and networking. Ayurveda is a system of traditional medicine native to India which includes exercise through yoga. All attendees found this event to informative, interesting and fun – as it demonstrated the many health benefits of Ayurveda.

SHARE had the pleasure of attending the NSW Fall Network Forum which served to provide evidence-based best practice from experts in the field on preventing falls.

The Women’s Month celebration of SHARE took place at the Kogarah School of Arts, where more than sixty woman of the community gathered for free to socialise, have fun and listened to great speakers discussing gender and senior related subjects.

A true celebration of multiculturalism and community, Members of Parliament, business leaders, community leaders, ambassadors, Consuls-General and other dignitaries come together at this special event to honour harmony and diversity in New South Wales.

Mr Mark Coure MP, Member for Oatley, Parliamentary Secretary for Transport and Infrastructure announced a donation of $67,000 to SHARE SMR INC to assist with the purchase of a 12-seater bus to transport program participants who no longer able to drive and/or rely on family and friends.

The Hon Brad. Hazzard MP Minister for Health & Minister for Medical research & Mr.Mark Coure MP for Oatley Parliamentary Secretary for Transport & Infrastructure did a meet and greet with seniors.

The St George Community Award was presented to SHARE for our outstanding service to the St George Community.
